| ISPM 15 Fumigation |
|
|
Raw wood packaging that is used
in international trade must be certified to have
passed ISPM 15 standards. This is to mitigate
the introduction and spread of pests/insects that
often live and feed in such materials.
We provide fumigation services
with Methyl Bromide, which is an odourless,
colourless, tasteless, yet fatal gas that is one
of the two methods used in the ISPM 15 certification
of raw wood packaging.

Methyl Bromide
is the preferred fumigant in most countries, and with
good reason! It has an excellent material penetrating
ability and is toxic to a variety of pests and insects.
As it is also odourless, colourless,
tasteless yet fatal to humans, methyl bromide is also
a heavily restricted pesticide and should only be used
by licensed fumigators to ensure that the process is
carried out safely and effectively - and that, is our
specialty.
